The sand trap louvre is used as pre-filter for the protectionof air conditioning plants in areas exposed to extremelevels of industrial pollution. It has a degree of separationof sand and large dust particles, even in cases of high dustconcentrations. The vertically arranged sections and holes forsand drainage ensure the sand trap louvre is self cleaning andmaintenance-free. The sand trap louvre is designed to separatelarge particles at low air velocities, thus avoiding excessive dustloading on conventional plant filters. It is not intended as asubstitute for conventional supply air filtration plant.
